International Cooperation between STIE Ganesha and IFREL: Enhancing Global Collaboration in Research through MoU and MoA Signing
Banten - In an effort to encourage the internationalization of research, STIE Ganesha officially collaborates with the International Forum of Researchers and Lecturers (IFREL). The signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was carried out online on Sunday, January 14, 2025, attended by the Chairperson of STIE Ganesha, Dr. Maya Kartika, S.E., M.Si., and IFREL Representative, Mr. Danang, S.Kom., M.T., and Mr. Febri Adi Prasetyo, S.Kom.
Dr. Maya Kartika in her speech emphasized the importance of international collaboration to improve academic competitiveness. “We see this collaboration as a strategic step in connecting STIE Ganesha lecturers and students with global research networks. With IFREL's support, we believe we can improve the quality of research and scientific publications,” she said.
Dr. James R. Fletcher welcomed the collaboration and affirmed IFREL's commitment to support research development at STIE Ganesha. “We are ready to be a strategic partner in facilitating cross-country collaboration, from knowledge exchange to publications in internationally reputable journals,” he said.
As the first step of this collaboration, the two institutions will hold an international conference themed “Global Business Innovation and Digital Transformation” in May 2025. The conference will serve as a platform for researchers to present their research results, as well as strengthen academic networks with institutions from various countries.
Not only that, IFREL will also provide training to STIE Ganesha lecturers in writing scientific articles, with a focus on publication in Scopus indexed journals. This training program is expected to increase research productivity and facilitate access to international scientific forums.
The collaboration with IFREL is expected to strengthen STIE Ganesha's position as a globally competitive higher education institution. “Through this collaboration, we are optimistic that we can produce lecturers and students who are able to compete internationally,” added Dr. Maya Kartika.
This collaboration is a concrete manifestation of STIE Ganesha's vision to become a center of excellence for globally oriented research and teaching. With the support of IFREL, STIE Ganesha hopes to continue to produce innovations and contributions to the development of science.
