Strategic Cooperation between STT Kerusso Indonesia and IFREL for Cross-Cultural Religious Research and Education through the Signing of MoU and MoA
Bekasi, January 8, 2025 - Sekolah Tinggi Teologi (STT) Kerusso Indonesia expanded its academic network by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the International Forum on Religious Education and Leadership (IFREL) and LPKD.
Rector of STT Kerusso Indonesia, Dr. Yohanus Maranatha, said that this collaboration will facilitate cross-cultural and interfaith research. “We believe that through collaboration with IFREL, we can strengthen interfaith dialog and promote tolerance through education,” he said. He also added that this collaboration is a strategic step to face global challenges related to diversity issues.
IFREL representative, Mr Danang, S.Kom., M.T., added that the collaboration includes the development of cross-cultural study programs, international seminars, and religious value-based leadership training. “We hope to encourage wider dialogue through innovative academic approaches,” he explained. IFREL also plans to involve international experts in various activities that will be held.
The initial set of programs includes collaborative research, leadership workshops, and the development of learning modules for global religious education. The program aims to create a deeper understanding of cross-cultural relations in the modern era.
